So working on class stuff for today up until about 7:55 actually helped! Nikki Schmidt came to observe my class today, and she was impressed (I think). She left smiling... That's good, yes? I think it went well, anyway. Only awkward part: a student that has violated my attendance policy to the point of being dropped actually showed up for class

When my class got observed, one of my students flipped me off in front of the faculty member - and I, to my endless chagrin, returned the gesture.

The faculty member burst out laughing.
