It's already mid-day Monday. The weekend seemed really long, but not long enough, as per usual. All in all, the weekend was both busy and enjoyable. I have a feeling that working in the writing center is going to be the hardest part of my job as a TA. Not that working in the center in difficult, it is incredibly boring! Found out that my books for the TA course (including the recommended texts) will only be about $126 (if I order from half.com)! This is very exciting considering I was sure that texts for fall would totally break the bank:) Good news for an otherwise crappy wednesday!

Friday: Went to Sushi with Terri and Mike. Very tasty, good conversation. Terri had been to a happy hour prior and had just enough to make him extra goofy, so that was fun. Mike and I went back to Terri's afterward to play some darts and have a few beers, but Terri got tired sort of early in the night and Mike and I went home to continue drinking. ( Read more... )

Why is it that I haven't lived with my parents for a year now, but every time they go out of town, my brother and I feel obligated to party there? Maybe it's latent defiance.
