i got up nice and early this morning all set to go to the beach with Kristaine. well, we went around 11:15 and sat there til about 1:15. yeah, i have never been more burnt in my whole life! and i NEVER get burnt.. the only place i ever get burnt is either under my eyes or on my shoulders.. this time i'm completely burnt on my chest, a little on the ( Read more... )

That sucks that you got all burnt up..do you remember last summer when I thought I was all good and then I looked at myself and I was burnt like...everywhere! I'm glad your job seems to be working out very well, especially with your upcoming fishing trip and the friends you've made. While I've been at Centereach the last couple of weeks I've become good friends with some of the people and we hang out after work a lot, so I guess you could say I know that it's important to make those kinds of connections at work when you can. I'm just becoming apprehensive about the possibility of being transferred again, since this other manger is coming back from maternity leave (not Kelly). We'll see, I guess..
Anyway I've digressed into my own personal affairs, hope everything continues to go well down there for you.. ttyl

haha yes i do remember that! but remember how i NEVER get burnt? you, katie, and jason all got burnt at splish splash last year and i got nothing.. this year my body decided to burn! i put a lot of makeup on my nose this morning so thats okay but my chest..omg lol.. if its warm enough on wednesday on the boat to wear a bathingsuit i'm gonna have to wear the exact same one or else i'll look like i have two bathingsuits on (since the outline from the one i wore yesterday is soo strong in white and burnt skin lol).. yeah, my job is a lot of fun, much better than all the drama that went on at PJV when i was there last year.. i do love the friends ive made at work (and as you can tell i think i have some gift for making good buddies with my managers lol *wink*), you are right they are very important.. i am very psyched about this fishing trip (i dont know about you but ive never been fishing before.. we're from long island and i dont know anyone who has a boat lol), although a little paranoid about getting motion sickness.. thats really ( ... )
