I saw in your journal that you liked it, do you think it was award-worthy? Or at least for all the recognition its getting?

I have to say I liked it, and it deserves its hype but...Oscar-worthy? idk.

I really don't know, I liked the movie a lot and I can't really explain why but I feel like there hasn't been a movie like that this year and it really struck a chord. I think George Clooney and the supporting actress was great. But it's also up against Avatar isn't it? I definitely think that Avatar will beat it just because it has such a huge fan base. What Oscar is it up for? I'm a bit confused with all the awards, the Golden Globes are different from the Oscars aren't they?

oh sorry, Golden Globes and Oscars are different with Oscars being the more "respected" of the 2, but usually whatever is nominated for a GG is nominated for an Oscar so I just assumed.

It's weird because I watched it again and I still like it and I agree that it's different, but I think maybe only the supporting deserved their noms. Sorry George Clooney...heh.
