Summer of 2006 is nearly finished. There was so much that I did, and yet there was still so much that I wanted to do!!! As cliche' as it sounds, it seems that I have a little less free time with every passing season. Thinking back, I can still remember summers as I boy (or even a teenager for that matter) that Summer was ENDLESS. I wonder if the

September camping sounds fun! Rich and I did some camping last September up in the mountains, where it also reached about 40 - 42ish at night. Once we were snuggled in our sleeping bags, it wasn't so bad...but that 4am trip to the restroom...oof! That was some serious cold! I won't even go into detail about the fridgid temperature of the metal toilet bowl seat...
Where do you go camping? Locally in (as in, in New England - VA, NH, ME), or do you go further south like Maryland, Georgia, etc? When I was growing up, we mostly went to KOA's in the above mentioned states in New England. As I got older, and we started taking our annual summer vacations in Florida to go to Disney, we started camping in the southern states. Camping in the south was fun - the people were so friendly, and there were campers all year round.
I hope you manage to get some "end of summer" camping in, Mike. Have a great time! And make Oskar an "egg in a frame" on the grill! Soooo goood!

Can you really tell that I spend less time in front of my computer? ;)
Kinda ironic when I am a "computer technician". :)

We are already making plans for winter, and planning a sledding trip very soon.
Happiness with the family? Heh...yeah, I guess I am ! !

Anyhoo, I got to see those sleds on a recent trip to Costco. There is no way you will get my @$$ on one of those. I think not only would I hit terminal velocity, but I'd probably spontaneously combust due wind friction or something. They looked like fun sleds tho =)

I hope that we get enough snow this year for some descent sledding, it one of the few perks to living in New England! :)
