Small RxD ficlet with lots of fluff and cuteness for all. Hurrah!

It was snowing. On Christmas Day, in London, and it was snowing. Remy didn’t think he had been so excited since he was ten years old, watching his dad pull a brand new sled out of the garage, ready to go shooting off down Dickley Hill in winter weather. He felt ten again. He felt ten, even though he was standing on the balcony in the snow, an eight month old baby boy in his arms, cooing and suckling gently in his sleep, tucked against Remys shoulder.

“He should really be in bed, darling.” Danny murmured softly, coming up behind Remy with that noiselessness his feet always seemed to manage. Remy turned, smiling as Danny brushed a red curl off of their sons’ forehead and softly pressed a kiss to that tender infant head.

“I know. I’ll take him. I just wanted to show him the snow.”

The Ravenclaw snuggled up to his husband and Remy’s free arm came around him, family trio stood together in the snow, watching the London rooftops.
“This is it, you know.” Remy sighed, and Danny looked quizzically at him for a moment, wondering how a day of presents, delicious food and delighted little son could amount just to ‘it’.

“This is?” He questioned and Remy turned, leaning towards him to capture a kiss from soft, willing lips.

“Perfection.”

Danny laughed, swatting him away. “You are so tacky, darling!”

“But isn’t it?” Remy protested, and Danny laughed again, letting him kiss him all over again.

“Yes, love. Just for this year, Christmas is perfect.”
