um... so I don't know how this will quite play out, but Dan and Jane have been planning a party for a looooong time for Friday night and Jane took off work for that day to have folks come over during the day before staying for a sleep over that night. she's been posting about it on LJ for a while, ah... so I don't know... what that means... how far is it between Amber's apartment and Dan and Jane's place? is it feasible to just drive back and forth? I'm not familiar with where she lives but if it's 90026 it osunds like it can't be too far...

Thanks for the concern! But it will go quite nicely since Amber and John are so close. We will just go celebrate the crazy awesome engagedness of Amber and John; we will eat, drink, and be merry. And then, we will crash at my house, and then do it all over again in the morning. And hopefully Amber and John can join us for brunch maybe.
