We are so lucky. Everyone should pray for the people of New Orleans and Biloxi. I feel so bad for them. Four big trees fell down around my house and a few shingles flew off our roof. Have you all seen the gas station on University Blvd? It's freakin demolished. It looks like a hunk of twisted metal. I hope everyone stayed safe.

I stabbed myself in the hand today with a knife. There's a first time for everything right? This weekend was spent in my bedroom. One paper done, two finals to go. We watched a movie on George Wallace in my New South class today and I almost started crying at the end. I'm sick of hotel beds. I want MY bed. I'm so glad that Dennis didn't hit us. All I have to say is: Thank the Lord! Now dumb asses are going to think that it's okay to stay put when a cat 4 or 5 hurricane slams into Mobile. They'll say, "oh Ivan and Dennis weren't bad!
