I don't think of them as malicious, but as primordial, chaotic forces that certainly could be inimical to humans, but in the way a hurricane is. And remember Prometheus was a Titan.
primordial for sure, but not malicious. would we go easily if a race more 'sophisticated' than we came in to supplant us? the war in many ways symbolizes the struggle to maintain contact with one's basic nature, the good and necessary parts of it, while not being mired in reactivity and allowing oneself to progress and vibrate at a higher level. khairete suz

Some iconic representations of Mithras seem to have him banishing demons of darkness, which might be interpreted as Titans.
