It's snowing here. Like, a lot. Like, officially "real snow" by any northerner's estimation.

And I almost assuredly lost my car keys in it last night.

It keeps snowing, too. Pretty much all through last night and today.

um, "real snow"? We started snowing Friday at 2pm and it didn't stop until yesterday.

Yeah, same here, it snowed all weekend. Stopped sometime last night! There's probably close to a foot of snow now!

Usually I make fun of our snow too, because we get about half an inch and everybody whines about how hard it is to deal with... but after actually getting stuck in it yesterday, I have to respect this snowfall!

I've always hated driving in the snow. Too many variables to deal with. Getting stuck has to be one of the worst.

It's not what NE is getting, but it would still be considered "real" if this had fallen in NE.

And in terms of the area's ability to handle it, it's pretty close. For example, you guys out there have trucks with the things on the front that can push snow.

OK, OK, they know what that is out here. And the city even has one.

We're suffering a fair about down here in Portland as well. I've never seen so much snow fall here in my life. I am so ready for this to be over!
