Thinking Boston and any of the 5 definitions of Goth I can think of calls up the empty set pretty much. That's before you add RIP. The Man Ray I mean was an American Dadaist/Surrealist. There's a particular piece of his I find extremely compelling. It's a sculpture called "New York".
