The reality of what has happened is still too hard to comprehend. The partial meltdown at Fukushima Unit 1, the millions of people without food and water, the rising death toll, the scenes of destruction, the acres of wasteland covered by debris and muddy water, its very apocalyptic and depressing. I sit here in my room and I just feel empty.

Earthquake, Tsunami, Nuclear Emergency March 11/12 2011
Well what can I say that hasn't been reported as yet? I live on the island of Shikoku. We are fine, but worried about friends and family who were in the Northern part of Japan. We haven't head from some of our fellow teachers and we are worried for their safety. I wish for everyone to keep the families of the deceased in your hearts and prayers. ( Read more... ) -
