When you grow up as a Weasley you get the feeling that you’re always making a fool of yourself, especially if you have Fred and George as your older brothers. As to Fred and George, it'd be hard not to be the butt of their jokes if you lived with them as long as you did. I think they only reason why they didn't get Ginny is because she has a temper like your mum's.
