long time no update.

i hope everybody's getting into christmas time, especially when it's time to buy me gifts - remember it's the season of giving.

I love christmas time. not so much the actual day - it seems like a lot of build up for one day, you know?

what's with october birthdays. everybody and their mom has a birthday in the middle of october. kind of creepy if you ask me.

everybody's healthy, i have a fully functioning computer, mom's going back to work tomorrow...

p.s. - i have gone beyond "thinking" about moving to latin america; I'm definitely going. I'm hoping to move sometime during the summer, depending on what kind of job i get. i want to live there for a while (year or two teaching english probably) and then do some (maybe all) of my graduate work there.

my roommates all have diseases. Thom is in the hospital for appendicitis, jordan has strep and mono, pete only eats peas and soy chicken patties, so he's always kind of sickly, and god only knows what illness aaron has that makes him sicklier by the hour. i'm feeling trapped by germs. ray told me i could sleep on their couch until the quarantine ( Read more... )

so after i graduate, i'm thinking of moving to south or central america for a year to teach english instead of going right to grad school at duke. thoughts anybody?

i roasted a whole chicken last night. one of the purdue pre-seasoned ones, so i guess it's not really that spectacular, but now i have a whole chicken and no one to eat it with. sigh. what a lonely life i lead.

i think i need to drink more water. my skin's always bad if i don't drink enough water.

so the mint julep tea i got from work looks like weed.

yup. just me sittin at my computer drinkin a big cup of hash tea.

ok so it's been a while since i updated, but quick info for everybody who's been keeping tabs.
