Susan had often seen aurors going in and out of the Daily Prophet's headquarters, but she never got to actually spend time with one. Especially not overnight. When she stepped out of the bathroom, still expressing her excitement, her heart broke. He was nowhere to be seen. She walked over to the door and peeked out. There he was, but he was... Distant. Susan always did this to herself. She was always more invested in others than they ever were in her. Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, she went and sat quietly on the bed.
