Drum Machine

I got an Alesis SR-16 16 bit dynamic drum machine.

It's from 1992
but it was designed in 1990
basically its old

Now that I have a synth and a drum machine all I need is some recording software.
Expect some techno beats to be coming soon

I could MIDI but I would kinda rather do audio
at least for the synth
If I MIDI i can't get my sweet synth sounds on my computer
only the crappy sound card ones

you could go MIDI out of the computer into the synth and drum machine, and audio back of those into the computer. that way you get analog dirt with ROBOTIC MIDI PRECISION

I will probably end up going MIDI in to the computer do get some of the rhythms I don't feel like think about down
Then clean them up a bit with a sequencer and then pump them back the other way to achieve just such an effect.

Also, do you know where I can get any sweet audio software?
