Not dead, I have one week left of my trip. I've been doing most of my updates via Facebook, because that tends to pop up in my Inbox more. NZ is a beautiful country, I'm making a friends with great people, and having fun. It's an exciting mix of strange and familiar. Doing a multi-week vacation alone is peculiar. Also, is it just me or are the Dresden books a whole lot like the early Anita Blake books? I mean this in a good way.
I'm on Dresden book 2 and it's seems like mostly a difference in gender presentation. -
On advice
I've gotten a lot of advice in the past few months. Some good, some bad, some solicited, a lot of it not. For the most part, I have no problem with unsolicited advice. Pittsburgh Day2
I got more sleep last night than I have in months, no cats, no grandmother, no place to be. I'm also alone here so I don't feel any compulsion to "keep busy". There were a few places I was thinking of going but many of them are booked with G20 related events, so I spent a lot of time just relaxing by myself. I honestly don't know how to deal with people that just enjoy pushing other people's buttons. I always fall for it, and it just makes me like them less. -

Upbeat: Things are ok, I'm chugging along on the site, getting business cards from work, 9 was visually inspiring but the story was rather bleak, and Live Dr. Horrible/Serenity was a blast. Finegan beginagain
So at midnight, I felt like some things *clicked* and I spent an hour relaunching the rewriting of my screen play turned graphic novel. It's a little strange, I wrote the original screenplay, which starts with a break up out of no where, back in 2003. I've picked it up and put it back down a number of times in the last 6 years.
