it seems that Fox has a strange track record with TV shows - it sometimes cranks out awesome ones like Buffy and the Simpsons - but then it fails other awesome ones like Firefly - i was talking with my awesome guy today and this topic came up - here's what i told him regarding their shows:

"it's like they're throwing darts at a board full of shows

I think you are pretty much right. It's mostly a crap shoot.

I stil can't watch Firefly without getting upset that they cancelled it :(

ESPECIALLY since it just freakin' ENDS - there's no closure, no nothing - it's like "oops! sorry! no mor episodes! tee hee!"

And then they went and cancelled Angel, just when it was getting extra good.

I didn't manage to catch any but a handful of episodes of angel - but i have to say that i did like what i saw - i just didn't like Cordelia enough to approve of her being with anyone likeable ('SPECIALLY Angel =P) - now that i get free online rentals with blockbuster, i think i'm gonna start watching it (retail sometimes has its perks =P)
