The company I work for is... reorganizing over the next 3 months. Starting next month, actually. I can't go into details on LJ, but is anyone's workplace hiring right now? Specifically for positions that a college grad with nothing but customer service and office experience can do ( Read more... )

nothing in your area, but check out IFESH.org. The only hitch is that you'd have to move kinda far.

Thanks. One of the suggestions offered at the "Town Hall" meeting they pulled us all into would have had me moving to Seattle. Not for the kind of money I'm making, I can't. I'll check them out, though. One never knows where a lead might... lead.

fan-TASTIC. And I've heard-tell that Texas is in better shape than most of the rest of the country. Really? There must be some places only months away from food riots and Grapes Of Wrath tent cities.

My company may be hiring at some time soon(ish) but not at this exact moment however the HR person said to drop her a line (translated into AWESOME coversheet) and your (incredibly awesome) resume. The people at work are great but the owner/cfo/hr persons only hire the best of the best so anything sent in has to really shine!

"careers@medwing.com" is where to send the cover letter and resume. Attention: Patti Tatum (the HR person). She said "They should mention what job they are interested in, how they heard about Medwing and why they are looking for work."
