Pfttt.. the mere idea I would have had only one favorite movie as a child is hillarious. I love all kinds of stories, and I did when I was a child as well.

I loved Ronja the robber's daugther when I was a child, and I do now, when I see it. It is such a lovely story.
I loved the Goonies, which I think now is a great adventure, but it does not touch ( Read more... )

Nice to see some of my favourites on there -

Always been a fan of Beauty and the Beast, despite the ending. Great music, good animation. Probably the Disney film I like best.

Haven't seen the new BBC Robin Hood though, I'll have to look out for that.

The new BBC is nice.. If you don;t look at it from an historian's point of view.

But here I was talking about the old BBC's Robin Hood series, with this guy:

Ah Michael Praed!

I have a book on Cold Reading (the technique used by fraudulent bastards to pretend to be psychics) and one of the tips in there is that if you have a client who is a woman in their forties to simply ask

"Um.. this may be a long shot.. but when you were younger did you have a crush on Michael Praed."

It's almost always a hit, because he apparently was quite a heart throb back when that series was running and it was New Agey enough that a lot of the people who were into it are quite likely to be the sort who visit psychics.

Poor Michael. From actor to scam-material...
