Tonsillectomy = ...?

So, would it be inappropriate to call the tonsillectomy, "throat surgery?" Technically, it's not really in the throat throat, but I feel like such a p^ssy when I say, "Oh, I recently had my tonsils out." But if I go, "Yeah, I recently had throat surgery," then it sounds more... legitimate, somehow.

If there was a scalpel in your general throat area? Then I don't think it's inappropriate at all.

Oh, and I so stayed up until 12:30 reading our book. Gah!

I'm at the part right after when Mel and "Max" have their Tweedledum-eating-rubber-bands debacle. LOVE it.

Oh, man. "Max" is so cute. Where's my secretly-a-millionaire-falls-in-love-with-me guy?

Word. I want a Grandma named Mimi who absconds her grandchildren for possibly going out with "grad" students with their long hair and "back-packs." Don't you?

EXCEPT--I'd never want a guy who fed his dog Alpo over a chenille bedspread. But I guess we ALL have our little flaws, don't we?
