Oh, no.

I just accidentally added the incorrect spelling of the word "apologize" to my computer's dictionary. As I usually misspell that word, and don't know how to undo the dictionary addition, I've decided that the only logical solution is to purchase a new computer.

Unless anyone else has any other ideas?

Use the money you would have spent on a computer to bribe everyone you know to start spelling "apologize" the way you spelled it.

How much for you to start spelling it with two p's?

while i'm totally not opposed to you using this to lever yourself towards buying a new computer (yay new computers!!)....

if what you did was accidentally hit "add to dictionary" while using spellcheck in word, there's a relatively easy way to fix the problem, should you choose to go that route (at least, until the new computer is delivered. ^.^)

In the "Tools" menu, choose "Options...". Select the "Spelling & Grammar" tab, and click on "Custom Dictionaries." Likely you have a default called CUSTOM.DICT or something like that. Select it if it's not already selected and hit the "Modify..." button on the right. A window should come up listing all the words that have been added to your custom dictionary so far (this happens anytime you add a word), with buttons at the bottom to add or delete words. Choose "appologize" and click "Delete". Voila!

I think you should never apologize for anything EVER again...
Will that help?

Or only say you're sorry.
