Changes
It seems every time I turn around lately, something else has changed. Went to work last night and discovered several acquaintances are gone. Also found out a friend who used to be a very good friend took a new position... and is moving.

Dawn and Maryland
I was up at dawn. Actually I was up all night and out at dawn to walk because the heat has been ridiculous, especially with the index nudging it up into triple digits. Heatwave and night driving
We've had a nice heatwave for the past two and half weeks or so. No rain. No precip at all and lawns and fields are turning golden brown which makes a nice contrast to the evergreens that seem to be all over the place. A couple of days ago BWI announced that it hit 105, two degrees shy of the all time high of 107, and that did not include the heat ( Read more... ) -

Long Day
Originally I had planned on going to Hagerstown and seeing the water garden center. Over an acre of water gardens free to the public, yes they are trying to sell you the plans, equipment, flowers, etc... but hey, free water gardens. I can't believe how long it's been. Sheesh. Two months.
Life's crazy as normal. Kid caught flu late August, early September. I came down with horrendous cough on my bd. Missed a week's work because of virulent viral bronchitis.
