Yay for Japanese! Nihongo ga daisuki :D! I think you'll like it- I actually find that speaking the language itself is actually easier than Spanish b/c the structure of sentences is relatively easy. It's the writing that's the hard part, but I'm getting the hang of it.

And my apartment is like a mile away from SEU... so somedays you must join me :).
