A world of bad manners

A caller at work this evening, after abusing a rep, was put through to me. He wanted to complain about the rep's 'rudeness'. The guy had been within earshot and I knew he hadn't done anything wrong, but I just went along with it, apologised on the company's behalf and assured the caller I would deal with it. Wow. It sounds like our jobs are VERY similar. I don't understand how individuals seem to think that the world and our companies revolve around them. I have experienced the " I want to speak to your boss right now" at 9pm on a friday night. The cx is never satified with the explaination that the "boss" dosent work evenings and weekends, that the best we can do is monday morning... unless he lets ME help ( ... )
