I love lost!Atlantis stories, and seeing it from Ronon's POV is a special treat: because he's lost so much, over and over, and yet he's still come home.

OMG I love this. I love the sense of home this has, the weight Ronon gives to his thoughts and his memories. Normally I don't go for such introspective pieces (and I especially don't write them) so I'm doubly impressed by this, that you weave in such memory and thoughtfulness in a way that doesn't feel overdone or 'thinky.'

I love Sheppard-the-frustrated-farmer. I love Rodney's intense stubbornness. I firmly believe Rodney will find a way to get the Gate close enough to the mainland that they will continue to use it even when the rest of the city crumbles. *mems*

Wow. Just... wow. Part of me wants to get up and do a little dance, because this amazing story was written just for me! The rest is still too stunned to move much.

I love your language, your setup, but most of all I love the way you seemed to read my mind and put in exactly what I wanted to know about their situation and how they felt about it. I love Sheppard the angry farmer and He wonders if they'll still be here when the gateroom falls away into the sea and Somewhere, in one of McKay's alternate realities, he'd like to think that he got to keep it. I love the rubble in Ronon's pocket and the scavenging trips to Atlantis. I love that you worked Melena in and the lines They'd thrown everything they had into one last hard-fought, scrabbling defense. Ronon had tried to throw everything he had onto a transporter. I love that this story should be sad but totally isn't.

This one gets a perfect 10. *saves* Thank you so much.

(And you finished early! I'm so lame I didn't even realize. -_-;;;)

...and he'd realized - again - that somehow he'd turned into someone with something left to lose. Again. And that he'd lost it. Again.

Aww, man *squishes Ronon*.

This was awesome!

This is really lovely. It really pin-points what a home is.
