I loved the candle metaphor! *_*

Actually, there were a lot of things I loved about this. Every single character interaction was freakin' perfect. Neji's a mess in bed (ha!). Anko is forceful and cold and takes what she wants when she wants it. Shikamaru totally calls her out (but it's funny that he fucks her first ^_~). Temari plays the game and leaves like the wind.

And Naruto is a mirror put back together with crazy glue that won't dry. Seeing him at the club almost as Ino's own twin made me laugh out loud when I realized the implication (whether you meant it like that or not).

Great story!

1 hour and five minutes. There is something very wrong here. Well, not only here, but rather everywhere in the world--no the universe, and the fact that you take 1 hour and five minutes to make magic.

I loved every word of this. Oiroke!Naruto/Ino is like Inocest. It is BRILLIANT.

I've been going back and rereading some of my old favourite fics on LJ since so many people are deleting their journals now. I'm sorry that I never commented on it, but this fic really struck a chord with me. Two broken people finding each other and learning to be happy together. It singlehandedly made me ship NaruIno.

Lines from it will come back to me randomly sometimes - "you weren't sure whether to be a dyke or a doormat" and "What a picture they must present, Ino thinks, just two hot chicks sitting side by side in bed with their backs to the headboard, bare-breasted, hair mussed, sheets tangled and pooling around their naked hips, and one of them not even a real girl."

I know it's been 10 years since it was originally posted, and I know authors sometimes aren't happy with the quality of their fics years later, but it means a lot to me that it's still up. Thanks :)
