So, steam trains, fab scenery, meeting up with friend and her hubby, good food, some walking and 4 and a half days of RAIN....pretty good really.

Wow, beautiful! I remember when I traveled by steam train! There is nothing like enjoying the view.

Thanks hon, we went on a bunch of them- Settle/Carlisle railway, Wensleydale line, Embsay and Bolton line and Keighley and Worth Valley line. tThey are wonderful things, I like the smell of the coal steam..We also went on a canal trip at Skipton and had a tour of a Cotton mill in Burnley!

Sounds like a lot of fun!!! I wish I could go on vacation like that and enjoy the sights!!!
