Ultravox 26th September 2012, Birmingham Symphony Hall
So, here's a funny thing I went to another Ultravox concert! Belatedly, here are a few photos. I took some video on my ancient digi camera as usual but the sounds is distorted so I shan't post them. Next time must find a better way or actually look at the instruction manual...
Anyway- the concert was really good, vibrant and everyone having a fab time. Played a bunch of tracks from the new album Brilliant, which I didn't manage to buy and listen to in time for the concert. Play list- Briliant,New Europeans, Mr X,Reap the Wild wind, Visions on blue, Change, White China, Rage in Eden, Sleepwalk, The Voice,Live, We stand alone, The Thin wall, Lament, I remember (death in the afternoon), Lie, Astradyne, Vienna, Flow, One Small day, Passing strangers, Rise, Love's Great adventure, All stood still, Hymn.
Encore-Dancing with tears in my eyes, Contact.
They are supporting - if that's the right word- Simple Minds in November, but the closest venue potentially clashes with travel plans, so I'm unsure if I can go or not. Manchester might be possible.
