Child Sponsorship

this is not something I usually mention in my journal but I thought I would as it's for an excellent reason

Our family is growing again, I got the papers through today for my new child, I will be sponsoring a little girl in Haiti called Herodiade. I do this through Action Aid and have sponsored children with them before. Others in my family

You're doing a wonderful thing. My mother sponsored a child through Action Aid for years - I remember reading his letters.

it's an easy way for one person to help a number of people. There has been times when I couldn't afford this sort of money but now I can pay it and not notice it's absence, I feel I should do something.
