As someone who writes about vampires and werewolves, I hate the fact the Twilight and the emo teens it's aimed at have kind of 'grabbed' the vampire/werewolf thing as their own personal genre. I'm well aware that if/when FB2 comes out, at least some people are going to assuming I started writing about vampires recently after seeing Twilight. (I've never read or seen it).
