The thing to remember about spiders is they make great pets and love being cuddled.
I suggest you name them and keep them as pets.

I think cockroaches eat silverfish. Get half a dozen cockroaches and let them have the run of the house. They'll clear up the sliverfish in no time. :)
Note: This solution may not be without a teeny flaw
