time is passing very quickly, something which i am thankful for of late. apparently strangers are mocking the things i say when i write, but when i write i just type what comes and backspace isn't an option. none of this will probably make sense, all spelling mistakes included

I'm glad you had a good time. And I know what you mean about the rain. People always seem so scared of it, and don't seem to realise that running through it doesn't mean you'll stay any dryer.... x

Amsterdam rain is something else though. It rains like nowhere else there. Same goes for the rest of Holland and Belgium...

Reading this entry made me want to go back to Amsterdam so much. I haven't been there since 2002. And last time I was there was on a field trip, where we'd been round the coffee shops and got lost. The only way we got back to our hostel was to follow the tram lines! I don't think I ever smelled the air there though.

And the way you wrote that made a picture in my mind. I like it when people write like that.

It is, it's nasty. We went to Amsterdam on a field trip and we were shown around the red light district. It's not the kind of place you want to stay for very long at night.

I remember the first time we went there as a family, ten years ago. We parked the car in the red light district, just outside a brothel, during the daytime. Needless to say, my mum got something of a shock.

I loved the canals though. They were frozen over and the ducks were almost ice-skating on them... :)

I've got to go back to Holland. I really have. Amsterdam included, but I want to see the eastern half of the country too.

You know, I still don't understand why posts about Holland always have to do with weed. But that's just my two cents. We have a lot more going on then just Amsterdam. I'll show you around next time ;)
