I have a friend who is just now studying in Japan and I gave her the link to this journal to let her see my take on my time in Japan (not as a student however, that predates LJ). I thought I should look and see if there were any useful insights about my life in Japan back when I was living in said country and so I started with my earliest entries ( Read more... )

I'm not sure I have the right frame of mind to do it in. At 25 years of age 35 seemed so far away... another galaxy of existence where things could and probably would be vastly dissimilar to the now. At 35 years of age I rather wonder if 45 will be different in any remarkable way at all. ^_^

I love Eeyore, always have. My mother tells a story of taking me to Disneyland when I was three. Even back then I wanted an Eeyore stuffed animal which I love and still own now. Perhaps that's what a writer would call fate?
