Well done!! Although I'm a bit sad that there was no Hotsuma. But it was very nice. I almost cried!! >< and the front part, sheesh, such a tease! XD I thought that it was Hotsuma, turns out that Seishirou was there instead!!! ><

Nice to finally hear Shusei's back story, though I suppose it wasn't much of a surprise (keeping it with the source and all). The absence of Hotsuma was well met, we got some more interaction with the backups and that's always a nice thing - I quite like Senshirou, that carebear~! And I'd like to mention that I love the fact the assault didn't deteriorate to a rape of some sort. Personally, I'm allergic to the "raep iz dramarama" trope. People abuse it as a cheap drama ticket too often, bleh.

So there's is a climax on the horizon? Hohoho, and the wait continues~

A lot of this fic is written as a parallel to the canon themes just written in the perspective of the host universe--so yeah, I agree, some elements aren't going to be a surprise but maybe just an interesting (hopefully) read through a different background. Glad you liked the interactions with the other support characters too :) I think they like to share their stories along side the main one of Hotsuma/Shusei, supplementing it with depth to the overall picture without really subtracting anything. ahhh I think Shusei and Hotsuma create quite enough drama on their own without the need to add rape into the picture pfft
