“…Yuki is back.” -I had to remind myself to breathe when I saw these words! What's going to happen? Does Yuki have sth. to do with Shusei's past?

"It was like Shusei was living without a purpose." Shusei, living in his own dark cage, his dreams, can't fall asleep now because something/someone in the real world is finally better than his dreams. He loves Hotsuma.

I always find your narration peaceful but appealing. Love it and hope it won't finish too soon.☆＿☆

My dear, I owe you a number of reviews which I will write for you once I've worked my way back. But I'm writing to tell you now - before you think no one is paying your latest update attention - that you have the best story I have read in this fandom so far. I was downhearted with the quality of stories available on ffn *ducks the death threats* and really must congratulate you on what you have achieved so far. I noticed your chapters getting smaller, but they are also getting better. Your writing style has become more economical since the earlier ones submitted, and while this doesn't detract from the tantalising atmosphere in the least, it means you are growing as a writer, one who knows what should and shouldn't stay throughout their story. I haven't checked yet whether you've written other stories about Shuusei and Hostuma, but you will be assured in the fact I'll read them if they are anything like this series here. I never paid much attention to Kuroto and Senshirou as a pairing before and they're slowly but surely growing

A lot of Kuroto's thoughts are just a reflection or perspective of his own. Maybe even just an excuse^^ Poor boy is a little bit afraid of the guilt he may feel if he gives up his revenge.

Well, he has lived so long with it already and done so much for this revenge that it must indeed be a hard thing to let go as it is such a big part of his life. It is intertwined with him.

Hmm, can't say I've got much to say about this chapter beyond the fact that I'm glad the story is still rolling in a fine pace. The ending was definitely a surprise. Yuki, huh? Wasn't at all expecting him to make an appearance here, and so late into the story. Shusei's reaction is suspicious but I doubt he'll play an antagonistic role... though I'd love to see THAT happen :D (I'm guilty for having very little patience for him her it Yuki)

All in all - looking forward to the next installment! By the way, you should consider getting yourself an AO3 account and putting the story there (or ff.net, but I hear that place has been iffy lately, something about purges? I don't know). I agree with the person who said this should be more wide-spread.

It's visually appealing and well sorted, among other things, and seams to be quite respected. I suppose it might be the invite system, so getting an account is iffy if you don't know anyone who'd invite you. But there's an LJ comm (ao3-invitecodes) that deals with getting people in... else you want to wait until 2013 :P
ff.net looks like a bland skeleton from the early days of Web 2.0 compared to it *shakes cane*.

As for this news of expansion, well wow, that sounds great! I'd like to see the teachers make an appearance. Hopefully the manga-ka will, in time, give us more back-story on them. Since they were introduced I can't, for the love of god, get over how much they look like Hotsuma & Shusein + 10 years. I bet the author loves rubbing this shit into our faces...

Obviously, I want to include as many characters as I can without detracting things from the main Hotsuma/Shusei storyline^^ haha and I agree--they are just like an older Hotsuma and Shusei!! I'm hoping we see more of a backstory as well. I'd like to see how Shusei and his cousin interact with each other well--somehow I think the four of them in the same room together would have a really interesting dynamic pfft
