I always like reading about Hijikata from Gintoki's POV and I can see Hijikata showing a part of himself while Gintoki still doesn't (in a way, he's more secretive than Hijikata). But who knows? Maybe he is showing something without realising.
Loved the ending, and the fact that they don't need words (their relationship couldn't work otherwise).

I really enjoy both of their perspectives though I still think Gintoki is hard to hit the right way because can be both a shallow and deep character depending on the situation.
I love that aspect about their relationship <3

Gintoki's such a mystery, even though he's the main character! And I'm not talking about his past, but in the way he acts, just like you said. The only way to get him right is to practice writing from his perspective more XD
