I love how since Yamamoto is a people person he just doesn't think about eating lunch by himself, and therefore approaches Hibari for company like it ain't no thang. ;D But that one encounter snowballs into something else entirely and just as unexpected! Making food for someone, figuring out their preferences and then seeing them eat happily--such a subtly intimate thing rings so true for these two, especially at that age. <3 And Hibari is so adorably confused over his growing feelings too, hee hee.

I liked the slow buildup and development, from surprise to fascination to worry and yearning and confession. <3 I only noticed a couple of tense irregularities, nothing that sticks out or takes away from the fic, so great job on the present tense experiment! :D I thoroughly enjoyed the read. \o/

Wooo I'm glad there were only a few irregularities that stuck out LOL I definitely did not plan on this being as long as it was, especially considering how fledging my writing is in this tense. But a little adventure never hurts!
