We use State Farm.. so much cheaper than AAA and treat us very nicely.

Be sure you are comparing apples to apples. Sure you can get cheaper insurance with some of the others than AAA or Allstate or State Farm, but in many cases they do this by futzing with coverage and deductables which are fine if you never need them, but when the times comes to call your agent....you could be crying.

The REAL point here is to get the one that most effectively drives mass media.

Also...I ALWAYS cry when talking to insurance agents...it just the way it is...

Last year I switched from GMAC to Allstate. The service has been good, and the premiums are about half what I'd been paying. My premium this year is slightly less than last year, which is a good sign.

Allstate! They have that large African American man who tells you how he'll look out for you! Very nice! He could be in the running... Like having a huge bodyguard who will beat the crap out of ANY who dare to mar my ride!
