Wow. It's been a while... I want to apologize to everyone who's been following this journal for the lack of activity of late. Both Youko and I have needed some personal time (althought for different reasons.) It's my hope that over hte summer, without classes and such, I'll be able to post more often. We'll see

eeeee! XD This makes me grin SO HARD. I love Orihime's ponytail and her expression; Ichigo's biker gloves (part WTF, part so-much-love); and especially most of all, Ishida's faaaaaaaaaaace. Wow. He's just so HUGGABLE, ee, and you've captured him in one of his "Uh...what?" moments.

And what really makes me love this piece enough to FB, rather than grin and move on? The lettering in the background is clean and uniform, and importantly, there's as much care taken to shaping it as to the characters, so it *fits* rather than is just...tacked up there. You really worked on this one, and it shows! Great job! ♥

Ichigo is such a lovable punk. ^^ And Orihime's just so gung-ho about it. I'm really pleased with how Ishida's expression came out; the poor boy is just so confused. *pets him*

I'm really glad you like the lettering! I didn't really know what I was doing while I was making it (and when I finished coloring this peice, I was like, "wow, there is no green in this composition") so I'm very glad you like it! Thanks for your wonderful comment. ♥ ♥ ♥

Actually I'm quite pleased with the lack of green - and yellow, for that matter. It's got basically three colors, when you break it down - at least in my eyes! [red-tones (magenta, warm purple) and aqua (Orihime, Ishida's hair) and black] And then the orange brightens the whole thing with position and its own, well, brightness! (It's high up in the center, and Orihime's ponytail pulls the "streak" of orange down, kinda suggesting it circles? Anyway it looks cool.)

...that was entirely too parenthetical. XD

The other thing I didn't mention and should is that the anatomy's wonderful too. This from a girl who can draw hands - as long as they don't have single fingers pointing out. XD Thank god I'm a ficcer 'cause I'd *never* be able to draw the middle finger and make it look as, ah, not-deformed as you did. :D I mean to say - good show. (And on their faces and Ishida's shoulders [YAY on slumped shoulders that look human, there is not enough of that in fanart] and...yeah. XD)

I love the embarassed expression on Ishida's face. I'm not too far into Bleach, but I do love that dorky boy, and that captures the essence of "...buh?" perfectly.
