Something else to point out to the union people would be that since you already get good money for easy work, any further compensation they demand will have to come out of the budget somewhere, and how much would you bet it'll come from the maintenece that the school so badly needs.

"Join the Union and have one less working elevator!"

Kosher hot dogs rock.

We saw the exhibit by that crazy Japanese artist that's in Rockefeller Center. It has two giant "eye balls" (that look like an Angel from Eva [anime]) and a garden of little mushrooms and a freaky onion-headed thing with little onion-headed guardians. Very strange (and a little creepy), but kind of neat.

so that's where my motivation went! It got passed on to you. This is quite strange. It's like Jeckel/Hyde thing going on, except with two actual different people, and switching studying styles instead, so really, it's not like Jeckel and Hyde at all. Awesome

THIS IS Sean Harrigan of the Student worker's union! It is a sad treachery that student worker's like you are willing to be subjicated by Pratt's restrictive student worker wages and unwillingness to recognize you as a worker. You are the type of SCAB that gives a bad name to hard working Union members who ralley for student worker benefits and rights. The student workers of Pratt will rise up and loose the bonds of oppressive Administrations! We will be recognized as an integral part of the complex machine, no, BODY that is PRATT! WE WILL NOT BE TRAMPLED UPON! WE WILL MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD! WE WILL SMITE THE UNHOLY HEART OF THE TOTALITARIAN REGIME THAT IS THE ADMINISTRATION! WE WILL EAT THEIR CHILDREN! LET THE BLOOD OF THOSE IN POWER FLOW FROM OUR VICIOUS JAWS!!!!!! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK ( ... )

Hey ,
This is Al Brennan, I work in the CGIM labs over in the ARC basement, and I just wanted to say to you Sean, that we do get paid for doing almost nothing. I realize it's not the same in every office, for example, kids in the Career services office do alot more actual "work" than CGIM workers. So, I'd rather not strike, get paid more, and then have to actually WORK, y'know what I mean? I get paid pretty well for working so comfortably. I know that one argument you guys use is that kids at NYU and SVA get paid $10 and hour, as opposed to our maximum of $6.50. But I know at other schools, there aren't even positions for work study open, and if there are, they are based on extreme need of financial aid. Some schools only have like, literally, 20 or 30 student worker positions available. We should feel lucky to have what we have, and not push it.
Comfortably computing, Alex Brennan

It's people like you, Mr. Brennan, that never get ahead in life, never take what is their's, never push for something better! It is people like you that retard the effectiveness of SUCH A POWERFUL UNION, SUCH AS OURS!!! There are only two kinds of people in the world, "Al" , those who ARE AFRAID TO TAKE POWER, AND THOSE WHO WILL TAKE IT AGGRESSIVELY, SWIFTLY AND WITH MANY CASUALTIES!!!!!!!! THE STUDENT WORKER'S UNION IS NOT AFRAID TO TAKE WHAT IS OURS! WE WILL FREE THE SLAVES OF THE SYSTEM!!!! WE WILL GAIN OUR RESPECT FROM THE ADMINISTRATION!!! WE WILL DESECRATE THE TEMPLES OF THE LAB MANAGERS, SENIOR REPRESENTATIVES, AND OFFICIALS! WE WILL RUMBLE LIKE A DREADFUL STORM OVER THEM, AND STRIKE THEIR BODIES, AND THEIR FAMILIE'S BODIES, AND THEIR CHILDREN'S BODIES! AND MAYBE THEIR PETS, OR SOME NEIGHBORS WHO JUST HAPPEN TO BE THERE! AND WE WILL FEAST UPON THEIR FLESH, AND DRINK THE BLOOD AND GAIN ALL THEIR HOLY POWERS OF THE SHAMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAY THEY HEAR OUR WARCRY AND TREMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( ... )

Sean, it's not a friggin', holy war, or whatever you think it is. It's you guys wanting more money from a school that is apparently already strapped for cash. Just, do your work, and get what you get dude, it's not that hard. Just, chill, okay? Chill.

Alex Brennan

Oh yeah, and your'e not my "pal"
