There are a bunch of trailers and dressing rooms set up right outside my dorm so I asked one of the guys what was going on. He said, "We're filming 'Law and Order.'" He laughed when he noticed how excited I was, but not hard enough to give me a part. 'Law and Order' isn't a comedy anyway...

But can you believe it??? 'Law and Order'!!! Ahhh!

Isn't is so awesome how just living in a certain area can expose you to things like major tv show filmage? We certainly don't get any of that in CO Springs! Sometimes they film 'The West Wing' at the National Mall. I really want to see it, become chummy the cast, raid the food service table, etc. You should take loads of pictures! I want to see!

Is that what's happening? I was really annoyed trying to cross the street, as it's hard to see the traffic through the big rigs.

I think they were filming something down the street the other night as well, as they had these giant lights set up that shone in my window all night. :p

But the people around here have all sorts of stories. Freshman year, in that first bodega on Myrtle, my suitemate was buying a magazine with Benjamin Bratt on the cover, and the lady in line behind us started going on and on about how stuck up he was, but how nice and friendly the rest of the cast were. And some classmates freshman year got scammed - a guy told them he needed money for a cab, as somebody had hit his car. I guess he pointed down the street to the flashing lights, and they gave him a couple bucks. When they got to the police cars, it turned out they were shooting one of those police shows.
