Hello world. By this time you are aware that I was the one who made no sense in mixing Hikaru no Go with kaitou and visual kei. Now I am here to explain what came over me and why didn't I just stop halfway though the massacre of the genres.

I loved both of your fics, although the kaitou!AU especially won my heart (there are not enough kaitou!AUs in the world!).

I should feel guilty for not commenting sooner! This was my favorite fic for this round. It just really struck a resonant chord with me. It was the perfect AU in that all the characters just seemed to fit their alternate roles; I especially like Ogata as the talent scout since he seems so attuned to new talent in canon. Ogata and Akira's interaction also seemed very plausible - Ogata was acting very much as the mentor figure in encouraging Akira to explore different, less certain paths (and exposing him to Hikaru, ahaha ( ... )
