OH! WOW! Such an amazing tutorial! I'll definitely keep this tut in mind and will try this technique! At the moment I am experimenting alot with colourings, especially the vibrant ones. I'm not a huge friend of blending, because they never seem to turn out the way I want them to, but I think I just need to experiment with that too :)
