So with this new technology, does that vegitarians not eating meat to protect animals...could enjoy a meat filled hamburger?

If I had known that was a career choice... american_arcane June 22 2006, 18:15:35 UTC
...I would so have been a "professor of meat sciences!"

I wonder what the course load is like for that program...

It's obviously endorsed by Atkins... :)

hehehe... "meat sheets"... is that a euphamism? ;)

So... meat is the new tofu? Available to be gorwn and molded in multiple shapes and textures? (Or at least, will be eventually.)

That's really kinda neat.

Hm...wouldn't work, since the product comes from stem-cells! People who're veg*an for moral reasons would still count using stem-cells as exploitation of animals, since animals can't give their consent for such a thing. They'd have to invent a way to alchemically transmute grain into steaks before the veg*ans would take a bite. XD
