(HUG) I hope everything goes well honey. It is a bit irking for me that you're unemployed, but I think this might be a blessing in disguise. Do try to enjoy yourself.

You and I belong to another club too...the kidney stone club! Yesterday I felt a little twinge...and then figured, ah, shit, here we go again...and then at midnight I was peein' and actually HEARD this sorta inner "vwhippp!" sound and something flew out of me...I had to collect it because it was so big...I passed something 7/16 of an inch long in the shape of a crusty "C" with barely any pain...kinda scared me a bit. It seems to happen if I drink pop. I had stopped drinking pop for quite a bit, and just lately had picked up drinking one or two per day again...this whole 'Pepsi Throwback" thing has me in it's clutches...but I am VERY thankful that I didn't go through days of pain for this one...although, it's escape from my body was odd. I am still amused by the sound? Weird. And probably TMI and not many people would find humor in it...but there ya go. LOL

Yeah, I've had a few that passed without pain. You should keep the stone and have a urologist examine it. They can tell you what type of stone it is and what things will trigger them. In my case, they're calcium oxalate, which is the most common type. Mostly I need to avoid peppers and salt, and drink more water. Others are triggered by caffeine, or eating a lot of red meat. They usually take quite a while to form (like 6 months or more, this last one took about 2 years), so it's unlikely that it just formed recently, though a change in diet may have helped dislodge it. Mine often start moving after I've had alcohol (which I don't drink often). Not sure if that's just coincidence.
