Rentals?

I am probably going to be making a surprise emergency trip to Michigan in the next few days. Anyone have any luck renting a Prius (or other hybrid) for 2 week trips? It's been a long time since I've rented a car and I'm weighing the options...a Prius or other vehicle with great gas mileage might be the way to go instead of driving my Vadgemobile

My friend Quinn who lives in Foston, Minnesota managed to rent a Prius... you could call ahead and see if there is one available. When I tried, they asked for more money to rent out. Yuck!
