Tell me honestly. Is it really worth getting a Facebook and/or Myspace? What are the pros/cons? Especially considering I wouldn't have much time with which to update them?

imo? facebook, yes. myspace, no.
but i'm biased b/c my asshat ex found a giiiiiirrrlfriend on myspace and she's every bit the myspace idiot.
i'm actually thinking about just deleting it.
but if you had a facebook, i would drown you in what passes for my hilarity.

Out of curiosity, would you tell me their myspace names so I can go see? Then I can help you make fun of her. I've been looking up random people I know or knew to see if they have profiles.

well, jon should still be myspace.com/users/batwings_over_walden_pond. his little cupcake is Siren Sirena. you'll know her because she's the one who posted the comment "you are the most beautiful man in the world."

excuse me while i go puke...

aaaaaaanyway, you should get a facebook because, srlsy, it's no livejournal. you barely have to do anything in order to post stuff. you fill out a profile and add friends, and suddenly people start tagging you in photos and commenting on your wall. it's a pice of cake. and not full of bad music or spangly profiles like myspaz is.

Huh. It won't work for me; all I get is page-cannot-be-displayed and no-user-found errors. Apparently myspace is smarter than I.

well, i've sort of banned myself from myspace for the next forever, so i can't really help yer. (for serious. i don't even want to log in, again, ever.) but facebook! oh, the things i would do to your wall...

and i mean it. livejournal is sooooo much more demanding. you have to actually, you know, type. with facebook, not so much. just lots of clicks and maybe a sentence. and i will spam you. oh how i will spam you.

As soon as I get a chance, I think I'll set one up. I'll probably have to ask for help and/or tips. :)
