I'm updating much too often for the past few days.

But I cannot hold back this excitment! Could this be the new Nikon's new 10.2MP camera the Nikon D80!? (that is supposidly replacing the D70s?)!

I do like the Canon! I've only had one digital camera so far, and it's my faithful Canon Powershot so I am so used to their format etc. But the EOS is... really... expensive lol.

I know there's always the option of the Rebel XT. Cheaper and takes decent photos, but the 30D is... that much more beautiful don't you agree?

Kyle, i've been following the Nikon prices too. There is also a rumored release for a D50s another version of the D50, specs have yet to be released. But this D80 of yours is suppose to come out within this week. Canon is also suppose to follow up with another release by the end of August.

I hate technology. (coming from my computer situation as well) It's like if you wait long enough, the camera that you wanted will go down in price but eventually be replaced by something better. But if you buy the new one right away, you'll be kicking yourself in the ass like a year later from things like the D80.

Have you seen the price on the Nikon D2Xs? shit man, that's one fucking expensive camera.

Go for the D70. I've seen so many communities use the D70 as their staple for their photos and they come out amazing. Also the Rebel XT is pretty good too, I think it has manual and automatic settings.

Okay actually, I've noticed it doesn't matter the camera, it all depends on the photographer and how well they shoot. Ie. some photographers I admire on LJ: desireless, jose471, mylai. Two of them sometimes use the shittiest of cameras but their photos turn out amazing.

Anyway Kyle, I know you'd probably practice your heart out on these cameras, it's a given you're photos are gonna look amazing. You're camera (whatever you invest in) is gonna be worth every penny. ; )

Thanks Michelle =) For now I'll be dreaming those Nikons and the EOS. Meanwhile, like you said, I'll be using my mighty Canon A40 (I believe there is an A700 out these days) and my film SLR. Yes! FILM! I'm going to make that hip again.
