Just a quick question to those that read my journal. Does anyone out there know solid works? I'm trying to pick some of the stuff up and I'm having a little bit of a hard time...

Thanks,
R

Thanks for the offer... My questions right now are very broad. I'm still trying to learn how to use solid works. It seems to have a very steep learning curve. I guess what I'm looking for is a mentor to shoot the shit with sometimes... I'm not sure if you're able to help with that, if you can that's awsome, if not thanks for trying. :)

hrmmm... probably not me so much. :) i'm at the moderntech office in nashville this week, and they've got a whole bookshelf full of weird object models they built in 3d, starting with solidworks (everything from bottles like you'd get hand lotion in to miniature cars and universal joints and slinkies). the walls are covered in posters and such. i'll ask kevin and david (the guys who actually work here all the time) if they know much about solidworks. i think david's just a salesdroid, but kevin seems to be a nerd. ;)
